established STHREE, Society To Help Rural Empowerment and Education in 2000, at Kadiri, Anantapur district. An organisation committed to empower, educate & rehabilitate sexually exploited women & children from rural India, using Anti Trafficking Committees (ATCs) comprising of villagers / survivors of the flesh trade and networking with District / State / Central authorities as well as the  Law enforcement agencies. Innovation of STHREE is also evident in providing livelihood options and income generation schemes to trafficked survivors individually or through formation of Self Help Groups (SHGs). STHREE operates a shelter home for rescued & distressed children / women besides providing services in care & support to those infected with HIV / Aids.
